Training continued
Presenter
Narelle Smith conducts all of our training sessions.
Narelle is the co-ordinator of the Wildlife Rescuers and has over eight years of experience of rescues and rehabilitation. She is the holder of a shelter licence and has personally developed many of the techniques she teaches such as capturing kangaroos on the move in suburbia. All of the sessions are lively and fast paced with attendees encouraged to participate.
**Certificate to teach**
Who Can Attend
We do not have a hard and fast minimum age for attendance at the various courses and it is acknowledged that there are many young people who are very keen to attend and we would like to encourage their interest.
However, we leave it to the parents or guardian to decide whether it is appropriate for their child to attend any of the training courses having regard to the following:
- some of the photographs used during the presentation may be distressing, and
- the discussion on euthanasia, including techniques may be distressing
