Sponsor a joey
You can see the sadness in their faces when they come into care, an orphan is an orphan no matter what species. They have lost their family and some die of sadness just as humans do. It is hard to imagine losing everything in your life that has meaning to you.
Little joeys are so well looked after by their kangaroo mums, she plays with them, cuddles, cleans and feeds them, keeps them cool in summer and warm in winter. The wild joeys are chubbier and fitter and it can take a year for these little ones to catch up, if they ever do. We can only try.
We have started up the "sponsor a joey" program so you can help in raising orphaned joeys. All money that is donated will go directly to the cost of raising these joeys and will help their carer purchase formula, oats and hay. Your contribution can be made via our donations page. In the description/comments field, please state that you would like your donation to go towards sponsoring a joey, it can be a particular joey if you wish.

We would like to thank Marcia & her parents and Rebecca for their ongoing support in sponsoring Daphne & Tiny. Both Tiny & Daphne are all grown up and living quite independently of their foster mum.
